Introduction

On the Dot ("the App") is a free precision-timing game developed by Daniel Hong ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

We do not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal information from you. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration.

However, our third-party advertising partner, Google AdMob, may collect certain information automatically to serve ads. This may include:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID / IDFA)
• IP address
• Device type, operating system, and version
• General location (based on IP address)
• App usage data and ad interaction data

How Information Is Used

We do not use your personal information for any purpose.

Google AdMob uses the information it collects to:

• Serve advertisements within the App
• Measure ad performance
• Provide aggregated analytics
• Personalize ads (if you have granted tracking permission)

App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will request your permission before allowing Google AdMob to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

If you decline tracking, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your activity across other apps.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device using standard app storage. This data never leaves your device:

• Your best scores for Challenge and Guess the Second modes
• Your preferences for sound effects and haptic feedback
• Whether you have viewed the tutorial for each game mode

You can delete all locally stored data at any time using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements. Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not use any other third-party analytics, crash reporting, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not contain any content inappropriate for general audiences.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data retention on our part. Data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google's data retention policies.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal information, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. For data collected by Google AdMob, you can:

• Opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings
• Reset your Advertising Identifier in your device settings
• Review Google's privacy tools at https://myaccount.google.com

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App and on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
